TIPS you can use

1. To keep food warm and clean put the cooked food in a thermo coal hot pack box, it will maintain the same temperature from the time of storing till you open the lid again for a minimum of six to seven hours. This not only saves time but also fuel. In a similar manner you can also store chill food or ice or cold water in the same thermo box. Thus it serves a double purpose utility.
2. To keep the mixer blades, knife sharp grind salt in the mixer or scrub them with salt and they will move faster.
3. Put used lemon or a piece of tamarind in your pressure cooker to prevent the bottom from getting white stains in stainless steel cooker or aluminium getting oxidized and leaving black stain.
4. Keep some cloves or camphor in the sugar pot or rice tin to keep away the ants.
5. Keep a cut lemon in the refrigerator to prevent odor.
6. If you sense that you are going to catch a cold, you have a soar throat, then take two garlic flakes and chew them if you can otherwise you can swallow them. This will prevent you from getting the cold, but this may not work after you’ve got the cold.
7. When you have burnt any part of the body, immediately pour cold water on the affected area for a while this will prevent it from swelling and the wound will heal faster.
8. When you have a stomach upset fry ‘sundeka’ then powder it and mix it with rice and eat, this would cure the stomach problem.
9. Consumption of White Pumkin, Papaya, Bittergourd, helps control sugar for sugar patients.
10. Keep grated coconut fresh for days by storing it in the freezer
