Hi Everyone,
Starting an online business, like any business, is an exciting and exhilarating prospect for many. And as many of you know the key to online success is to do your homework, create a strategic vision for your business, get the right mix of tools and technologies, and effectively promote and drive traffic to your site.
In the words of Andrew Carnegie: “Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!”
Having the best looking and most up to date website with cool products but no traffic is like throwing a party and nobody turning up. So one of the biggest challenges of running an online business is figuring out how to get found amongst the millions of websites on the internet.
One of the best ways that I have found is to write simple articles, like this one, and submit it to a few article directories, and you will get some readers. If they like it some even take it and use it on there websites creating valuable one way links, which helps with your search engine rankings. Meanwhile some people will like it enough to click on the link that you place at the bottom of the article.
There are numerous ways and methods for getting traffic to your website and perhaps some of you would like to share some of the strategies and experiences with our other members.
