Hi, everyone:
My name is Lindsay Brambles. For years you could say I've been the proverbial struggling artist, but recently one of my novels was finally published by PublishAmerica. It's an SF war epic that will probably appeal to anyone who enjoys the likes of Heinlein, Haldeman, Weber, etc.
Of course, you'd think I'd be ecstatic about getting my book in print, but I've learned the hard way that the publishing business is fraught with difficulty. These days publishers really don't do much beyond publishing the book. The rest is up to the author, and believe me, getting the book attention isn't easy. I feel like Sisyphus.
