there are a lots of ways to promote your site. you can promote it to forum that generate high traffic, advertise it there a lot of free advertisements out there in the net. just select what best suits you.

You have two choice to promote your site first is free way and second pay way.if you wan to do whit free way, you can start by writing article, promote it to forum, blogging, safelist and many more. If you want whit pay way i think maybe ppc is the best choice but need be careful if not you will lost your shirt fast.:p

I would offer something for free of value (free guide tutorial etc) about your subject in exchange for them joining your newsletter. You could then follow up with them on a regular basis. Start with building your opt in list.

I think that promoting a site is the most important way to earn money out of it and if you do that properly then you can be a millionare. I think that you can do this by forum posting, blog commenting and also by writing article.

Those are all great for developing long term traffic from the search engines, but in my 10+ years of dabbling with IM I get very little traffic from signature links in forums and blog commenting. I've done little to no article marketing, but again I think this tends to lead itself more into getting backlinks then visitors.

I'm asking, what are some ways to get instant traffic that you can convert into $$$? How about some Youtube or Facebook marketing methods, does anyone have some good insight on this?

You can do so via writing articles, creating blogs at Blogger or Wordpress and Web 2.0 as in Squidoo or Hubpages.

To check any incoming traffic, you can go to Google Analytics, follow the procedures and get the html code before copying and pasting into your website.

But ultimately you need to create a landing page. It is a single webpage with an optin box to capture people's names and email addresses when they submitted to get the free report as in ebook or video.
