If you are looking to be able to make a super flexible website that offers no end to the content you can add, I would suggest you go with either a script like:

or
www.wordpress.org

A lot of people think wordpress is just for bloggers, but it is quite versitile!

All of these take some effort, but if you have a host that offers you a control panel, you might have a program in there called Fantastico which will install the joomla and wordpress scripts for you automatically. If not, you can simply follow the step by step instructions to install it and you will be on your way!

I use joomla for most of my sites and there was a bit of a learning curve, but the support forums there are VERY helpful and almost any question you have will already have been answered in there... most everyone has been through one thing or another on the learning end :)
