* Your website should be your brand ambassador. You have to constantly maintain the high quality, which in turn will invite quality links to your site.
* Advertise your website as much as you can through press releases, product reviews, blogs, etc. This will make your website visible to maximum people. You can also participate in the live chats at appropriate forums. Once your website is recognized by people, they will link their site to yours.
* The social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook can contribute a lot in connecting to the prospective buyers. Therefore, it is important to link your websites with social networking sites. Another good way is to have links of your website in your social networking profile.
* A blog or forum on your website can increase your visibility and recognition in the relevant section. You can also publish your expert views and suggestions about your niche market and industry which will increase your links.

I think you would be better off submitting your original videos to the major video hosting sites, adding original articles to Ezine Articles and to the top social media sites. These are all authority sites. Check out ContentBuzz. It is very good software which can help you do this.

Thanks Matt. It looks like a good tool. Some years back I have linkmetro. But couldn't get the exact one like this.
Robert
If you are looking for a real link exchange organizing software then Arelis software also is very good. The problem with going around and asking everyone for link exchanges is that some people consider it spam and complain. Link exchanging does work. Another option is to put link exchange software on your site and invite people to place a free ad on your site. I use the infowizards software. It is OK. It does the *** but maybe there is something better out there. Despite of what SEO gurus say link exchanges do work. I get lots of traffic from people just linking to me. Check out my signature to see the video I did on this and also to place your links on all my sites.
I am glad I started with a link exchange strategy early because when Google nuked all my ppc campaigns I still had lots of natural traffic coming in. This is something you should always be working on as well as building your list. Good luck.

thanks matt. I have searched and find linkmarket
Yes, there are a lot in the market. But it's difficult to choose the correct and effective one.
Yes, I am more interested to building traffic in an organic way. I currently have 600 links but the traffic is very low (not more than 100). How much a person should devote per day in order to get a 500 visits per day?
Link exchanges help us to climb PR 4 to PR5. How is traffic and links connected and inter-linked?

Blogs on Other Blog Platforms. Use existing blogs you have on other blog networks. Or set up different versions of your blog on different blog networks like Wordpress.com, Blogger and Xanga. Link to specific webpages on your website.

If you want quality work for your site don't goes for software submission. There is many sites are expired, which was very lower pr and do not follow status. If you want more qualitative back-link for your site you should have need to goes manual submission. It is possible that it takes more time, but it help you more.
Yes, I agree manually is always better. I will check out your service. Another way is to install link exchange software on your site and have people place their free ads on your site in exchange for a link back to you. This has worked very well for me. See my sig for examples.

Link building is one of the best ways of self promotion on the web. Both the inbound and outbound links play an important role in a website's ranking process and in the resultant traffic generation. Having good indirect links on your website will improve your business and sale. The sister or related sites also help a website in gaining an increased customer flow by sending their own clients to that website through links. Link Building
is to be taken as an opportunity to put-forth the best things you can provide them. Link Building also helps you to build a reputation in your niche market.

1. Directory submissions have fallen off the radar but the top directories are still great
places to get authoritative links. If you haven’t already done so, submit your site to DMOZ, Yahoo
Directory, Business.com Best of the Web, GoGuides and JoeAnt. It will run you about $800 bucks but well worth it in my book. Expect around 6-8 links from this.
2. Submit your site to niche directories. These are directories that specialize in your specific industry or niche. Many general directories, niche directories have not faded in importance and still provide valuable links. I like them because they are: relevant, give search engines a clear picture of what your site is about and how it
relates to the other sites in your niche. The majority are often trusted and authoritative resources with great back links of their own and your competitors usually are to lazy to get these links. The key to finding great niche directories is to use specific queries in the search engines such as: “you keyword” directories, search engines, directories, or directory.
3. Observe the top 100 sites in Google. Conduct backlink searches in Yahoo’s site explorer and Alexa link search to find linking opportunities and submit or send an email.
4. Create a blog and submit to blog directories. I suggest you use a sub domain as it will keep all link juice in the domain itself.
5. Create link bait articles then submit to the top social media sites. Easy to say and hard to do but I like to keep them listed and technology based. * The first and foremost thing is that your website should not try and cheat the search engines. Don't allow any suspicious data or information on your website.
* Never go to automated link providers or link farms for Link Building of your website. Your website may get penalized for link manipulation.
* Never get unrelated links or blog to your website. The unnecessary and unrelated blog comments and links will not help you in ay way. It will instead, lower your website ranking.
* If you get too many links in a short span of time, your website will come under the search engine filters. Paid links or links from the spammers are to be avoided at any cost. Don't let any spammer link to your site and do not ever put your link on any spammer's website.
Paying attention to these few tips will get quality links to your website and will assist in climbing up the rungs of search engine rankings. Reciprocal link building may be the best option where you and your rival or competitor web-owners can exchange your links for more traffic.

When was the last time you submitted your site to DMOZ? Every domain I've built over the last several years I have been unsuccessful in getting them into the directory. I don't even bother anymore....
I am not sure how many domains I own but I have link exchange software on about 7 of them. Here is the link exchange page which lists the different sites
Articledude.com exchange reciprocal links with our network of sites! (http://www.articledude.com/infowizards)
The infowizards software works but I am on the lookout for something better.
I do not have an inter linking strategy. If the sites are relevant to each other I link to them.

Link building and the whole process of search engine optimization are important especially for businesses to maximize the potential that the Internet offers them. Working a website up the search engine rankings requires dedication and a lot of creative effort. Creative effort because not only is SEO a game of link quantity, it also a process wherein developers create websites that will entice their target markets and acquire quality inbound links in the process.

Link building or the practise of buildings links is more commonly known as ‘Offpage’ SEO( search engine optimisation). To be absolutely sure you understand what I am talking about. A backlink is a link from another website pointing to you website. i.e. If I have a Facebook profile and put a link in my profile to my website that is a backlink.

Manual link building is often a preferred method of achieving links and for that you must have to keep some points in mind that the page on which your link resides has a high page rank. Have similar but not exactly the same, anchor text. Vary your anchor text on the links you achieve. Yes, in the market there are many software available for link building.

Robert, there are link building software tools such as SEO PowerSuite, LinkNabber, Arelis and others but I do not trust them. Google is a very adaptive and intelligent search engine and could unwittingly view using such software as SPAMMING. This could hurt you rather than help you. Automation seems like a bad thing these days.
There are better and safer approaches to link building.
1. The old-fashioned way: Reach out to other website owners and ask them if they would like to exchange links with you. You can probably find people on this great forum who will do this. Just set up a page on your website dedicated for link exchanges.
2. Set up a link directory like the one I have at Ipsarion Weblinks (http://www.ipsarion.com). Once built up, people will want to link to you. That is, they will want to reciprocate: They place your link on their website because you placed theirs on yours. At Ipsarion Weblinks (http://www.ipsarion.com) the process of link building is largely automated and powered by a scripted called PHP Link Directory (http://www.phplinkdirectory.com).
3. Another approach is to set up a software download directory like the ones at Webjava Software Download Center (http://www.webjava.com) or Free Downloads Center (http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/). Not only do they assist in link building as people will pay you to link with you, they also put money in yor pocket because you can sell advertising and populate these sites with trial versions of affiliate software for download.
Hope this helps.:)

Social-ize...
Explore the realm of social bookmarking and get your links featured on as many social networks are possible. The potential for a viral linking explosion is huge in any social network, so work on a good value offer to promote to these networks (something free and useful).
Follow Some Blogs
Blog commenting is quite a popular link building technique in the SEO community. You simply follow some popular blogs in your niche or industry, and provide constructive comment where suitable, leaving your link in the comment. Keep an eye out for "nofollow" blogs though, as these will just be a time waster.

It refers to the number and quality of the incoming links that are pointing to your site. No marketing tool can replace the effectiveness of word of mouth advertising. The same principle applies to website links. When a trusted site links to yours, people follow the recommendation.
I have been using a new program called Content Buzz. It submits your video to top 20 video sites, then turns it into a post for the bookmarking and social media sites. Then the program places your links on other people's sites in the network and vice versa over time. Very nice.

Hi Members,
Some great link building tips here, I have another one. If you know your niche market then type in your main keyword or phrase and search for it in in google.
Make a note and visit all the top sites on page 1 and even maybe page 2. If they have an article section then they will have comments sections on those articles.
Leave a comment which is relevent and useful (not spammy) and on every comment you can sign off with a link to your own website then hey presto, you have quality backlinks from high ranking sites.
regards,
Mal.
That is a good tip I have done it quite a bit. Only problem is that is takes some time but long term it will work.

First of all you can submit your website to directory list. This is a pretty monotonous process that can get you several hundred back links if you have the time. Its important to pick sites that are of high relevance so you’ll not only get links but traffic. It is important to consider deep linking to internal pages of your website using your desired keywords, it is not a good practice to focus all your link building efforts to your homepage only but also to other relevant pages on your website.

Well, I recommend to use Anchor Text. Try to always strive to make your natural anchor text. If you use the same anchor text containing the keywords all the time the search engines penalize your links. Look for phrases like my place warm visit my site here part of your anchor text. Do not optimize.

Article directories are an easy way to get backlinks to your site. You can put a bit of information on, and then go to reverse your biog box, or the entire text and reverse to your website. When readers click on the link takes you to the relevant website where you can sell your product-related.

I think the best link building method for SEO is through social bookmarking, blog and forum posting and submitting your articles to major article directories with the link to your website in the author's biography. You should focus in off page factors. Like directory submission, social bookmarking submission, forums posting, and article submisison.

Link Building is the process of creating inbound links to ones own website. This can be done by reciprocal links, being listed in ezines, newsletters, directories, search engines, etc. Link building is one of the best ways to make your site popular. There are few types of linking one of which is reciprocal links.
Reciprocal links or link exchanges is the process where two webmasters agree to show the other's link on their website. After link building when the number of sites which link to a particular site is known as link popularity which helps in the search engine ranking of a website.

1) Relevancy: Relevancy is a very important factor to consider when trying to acquire backlinks for your website, even though quality links from unrelated websites can help increase your website authority.
2) Anchor Text: Usage of anchor text is very important in achieving High Search engine rankings, If you could have the right amount of backlinks using the anchor text of your choice, then you can easily rank for a keyword without you having it’s traces on your website.
3) Deep Linking: Deep Linking also helps a very old page of a particular websites; it notifies the search engines of the pages and also makes them think the page is still relevant thereby increasing it ranks in the Search Engine Ranking Position.
4) Authority: The authority of the website or page linking to you is also very important in achieving top search engine rankings, getting links from only low quality websites will make the search engines keep more eyes on you, because it is related to a blackhat practice in which a user create multiple blogs and tries to make them link to a particular website.
5) Consistency: Consistency of the links you get to your website is also very important, it wouldn’t be a good option to build 100 links on day 1 and then change it to 10 on day 2 neither will it also be a good option to build 10 links on day 1 and 100 links on day.
