Why is it that on the introductions thread that there is advertisements?

Introductions are,

"Hi, my name is Karin. I am new to all this stuff. I need to find a way to
make some money. I accept that advertising it about the only way to do
that. I'm willing to advertise, but this is supposed to be an introduction
link not an advertising link.

It says, come meet people, have some fun and maybe learn. Well, I'm here
but all I see is ADVERTISEMENTS! I don't need another program to join, just
to spend more time reading and then have to spend more money to try and
get an idea of what I need to do.

Anyway, theres my negative introduction. Have a nice day!

Some people can't read simple English, I guess! I have no idea how they are going to make it when life brings them English to read! Sometimes immaturity possesses a person throughout life

Thank you for the welcome. I should apologize for my original post, I am
just so frustrated lately, I don't know what to do next. I guess I was hoping
to read some introductions and hopefully connect with someone who could
help me through this.

I am DETERMINED to figure all of this out. I do believe people can make
money from the internet, I just don't know how to start.

I've been reading and listening to "how to videos" for the last couple of
days, and I still don't quite know how to start. I don't have a website
or a product. I guess I should start with affiliate marketing, but when I
tried to post, it didn't work, so it didn't post or it didn't post with my link.

So, I moved on and figured I would attempt again later. I guess it is what
is called "information overload" again.

Anyway, thank you for your welcome. I'll try to be more positive in the
future.

You are right to work with affiliate products until you can have your own site and products. That`s how I started. It`s OK to watch videos and read e-books but nothing compares to ACTION!

Get into action and post your ads to groups and forums. Join some free safelist and there are some traffic exchanges where you can build up traffic credits for surfing.

Yes, some of us are making money on the net. I`m no guru but I make my living on internet marketing. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I got help to get me started from people who I did not know, so now I want to give back when I can.

You are right about this section being for introductions only, sometimes we get overzealous. I am guilty too.

You welcome Karin. In the begining, it will be hard work and you may experience some failures. Do not be disappointed. Learn from your mishaps and move forward. Over the past few years, I get calls from people who say " Will you teach me to make money on the Internet"?

I say, sure, I`ll teach you what I know. For the first week, I spend about ten hours working with them and listing all the places I use for free ads.
The following week I hear from them a little less and then nothing.

About 1 out of 10 I work with will actually roll up their sleeves and put in the work nesscasary to succeed.

As long as you keep on the real, knowing that the net is like any other business. It takes work to make it grow. In closing, do not fall for the hype that all you have to do is hit the enter key and the money will soon follow

Hi Jay, Welcome and thank you for reiterating this as an introduction thread.

Call me a little stupid, but where is the Ocean State? I've never heard that
phrase before. I am in Florida, Orlando actually. They call us the Bikini State,
or as my husband, who is a truck driver, calls it the Mickey Mouse House.

I don't think I can be much help to you. It sounds like you are still struggling, but you seem to be ahead of me. I haven't really done much
advertising yet. I'm still kind of reading and listening trying to find what is
going to work for me.

But I am DETERMINED to find it and and make it work, whatever it is.

Yes, Karin, you are right this is supposed to be intros only.
I am going through and deleting all the ad posts and banning those
who spam this forum. After all they can advertise everywhere else like
crazy why can't they just keep one place for intros? I will try to watch it more carefully sometime it gets out of hand. Thanks!
