Actually, it's my experience that Google does index new domains very quickly.

I have a semi-niche site which was on Google's first page & rank 4 after only 3 to 4 days ...

Others are also indexed, but because not so niche, showed up on page 40 the first week, page 20 the second ... a day later page 21 and back, battling it out from there

Indexing is not the main issue ... working on your rankings is!

Ranking mean nothing in terms of making money. You can have good rank and no revenue. I been online for ten years making money and although I look at ranking, I check to see if my articles are pulling in new visitors.
