My favorite language is HTML. HTML is a web programming language, and even the most novice webmasters can benefit from having a working knowledge of how it works.

Although there are a lot of "build your own web site free" websites out there with programs that aim to make building the site simple for the novice, it is still worth taking the time just to meet some of the basics.
