About Me:

I’m a 53-year-old father of two daughters (17 and 20). My wife and I have been married for over 25 years. After staying home to raise and homeschool our two daughters my wife went back to school. She finished her schooling and started working again back in September of 2023. Only to be furloughed along with two thousand others at the end of January. Now she hasn’t been able to find another job. She is competing with two thousand other former fellow employees. Every day expenses are through the roof. We have major repairs that need to be addressed in our home (HVAC, water heater, Deck needs replacing, etc) It’s hard to keep our heads above the water. When she was working we could breathe but none of the major repairs could be addressed. Can you relate?
