Thread Ring Gauges are typically cylindrical and fabricated from a stable material with an exact bore in their center that functions as the gauge for the outer diameter of parts.

These are also used to measure male threads, such as those found on screws and bolts. The Gauges are considerably more reliable and accurate than leaf-style gauges. Our Thread Ring Gauges are known for their strong and durable construction.

The primary function of Ring Gauges is to establish on a go/no-go basis whether the part being gauged falls within the dimensional tolerance set for it.
