Redneck Lipstick barbecue sauce began in a place I like to call Grubbs, America. It has a big city feel without the big city. Truth be known, it is a small town hidden in Arkansas and has a population of 438. Grubbs is so small we only have one stop sign! As you can imagine I didn’t have much to do growing up. So, at a very young age (9 years old) I decided to spend most of that time mastering the art of barbequing. My family thought I was pretty crazy. But, at the age of 15, I began winning several local barbeque contests. Then the contests just got bigger and bigger. I continued winning and had developed a tremendous following. At this point, I knew I had found my calling. I never gave much thought to bottling the sauce I had created until I was approached with a large amount of money for the recipe. I eventually turned down the offer to follow my lifelong dream. This is when I realized I really had something special.
