IndianOil is advancing its renewable energy expansion, targeting 18 GW of capacity by 2028 and 31 GW by 2030 through both organic and inorganic initiatives. To accelerate this mission, the company has set up Terra Clean Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary incorporated in May 2024 to lead low-carbon and sustainability-driven projects. IndianOil has approved an equity investment of INR 1303.75 crore for developing 1 GW of renewable energy capacity. A further INR 1,086 crore has been sanctioned for Terra Clean Ltd. to implement an additional 4.3 GW. These efforts underline IndianOil’s commitment to building a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
