Singer Rahul Vaidya has stirred up a storm by mocking cricket star Virat Kohli over the recent ‘Avneet Kaur Instagram like’ controversy. While Kohli explained that the like was a glitch caused by the algorithm, Vaidya jumped in with sarcastic Instagram stories, saying, “Maybe the algorithm will start liking photos on my behalf too.” He also claimed Kohli had blocked him on Instagram, but joked that maybe the algorithm did it for Kohli. The comments haven’t gone down well with Kohli’s fans, who began trolling and abusing Vaidya online. The singer hit back, saying Kohli’s fans are “2 kaudi ke jokers” and even dragged his family into the mess by claiming they were being abused too.
Vaidya did admit he still respects Kohli’s cricketing talent but no longer endorses him as a person.
