Rishikesh is a well-known destination for those interested in traditional yoga, meditation and mindful living. A short residential yoga teacher training program offers an opportunity to explore yoga in a structured environment while learning about its physical, mental and philosophical aspects. The 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh at Hariom Yoga Vidya School is a 14-day residential course suitable for beginners and intermediate yoga practitioners. Participants do not need previous teaching experience, making the program a suitable starting point for those who want to deepen their personal practice and understand the foundations of yoga. The curriculum includes Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Kundalini Yoga, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, teaching methodology, alignment and other traditional yoga practices. Students study 17 subjects as part of the 100-hour syllabus, gaining exposure to different techniques and approaches to yoga. The program features approximately nine hours of daily classes, providing a structured learning experience throughout the course. The residential package includes accommodation, three vegetarian meals per day, study materials, yoga equipment, a Himalayan excursion and additional activities that support the overall learning experience. This 100-hour training can also be completed as the first part of a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification pathway, subject to the school's applicable course structure and certification requirements. However, the 100-hour program itself provides a certificate of completion and does not qualify as a standalone Yoga Alliance teaching credential. For anyone seeking a shorter introduction to residential yoga teacher training, the 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh at Hariom Yoga Vidya School offers an opportunity to develop yoga knowledge, explore traditional practices and learn in the serene surroundings of Rishikesh.
