Dr. Sujata Santosh Prabhu is Kolhapur’s first dedicated neuro anesthesiologist and currently serves as the Executive Director & Chief Neuroanesthesiologist at WIINS Hospitals, Kolhapur. With an MBBS and MD (Anaesthesia), she brings over 35 years of clinical experience in administering anesthesia for highly complex brain and spine surgeries. She specializes in advanced neuroanesthesia techniques, including adenosine-induced temporary cardiac arrest, ensuring enhanced surgical precision and patient safety. Dr. Prabhu has led numerous neurosurgical teams, presented award-winning research, and has formal training in hospital administration from IIM Ahmedabad. Her expertise lies in ensuring safe, smooth, and fast recovery for neurosurgical patients, with a strong emphasis on patient comfort. At WIINS Neuroscience Centre, she is pioneering innovative neuroanesthesia protocols that are setting new standards in care.
