Most people use a hair growth serum on the hair itself and then wonder why nothing happens. Growth starts at the scalp, so that’s where the serum needs to go.
When you read the label, look for named actives: Redensyl, Capixyl, Procapil, Baicapil, or Anagain. Each one works on a different stage of the hair cycle, so a serum with two or three is usually a smarter pick. Caffeine helps scalp circulation, biotin supports keratin, and bhringraj or amla adds an Ayurvedic touch.
Part your hair into sections and put a few drops straight on the scalp. Massage for a minute or two. Do this daily, because skipping days may slow everything down.
Be patient, as hair grows slowly, so expect 8 to 12 weeks before you see anything. Ignore “regrowth in two weeks” claims.
Food matters too. Dal, eggs, paneer, and greens give your hair the protein and iron it needs.
A hair serum won’t fully fix genetic baldness or hair loss caused by thyroid problems or anemia, so make sure to see a dermatologist if hair loss is sudden or patchy.
