Here is the reality. Ovulating is necessary for pregnancy, but it is not sufficient on its own. Many couples with regular cycles and confirmed ovulation still take 6 to 12 months to conceive naturally. That is within the normal range. But if it has been more than 12 months (or 6 months at age 35 or older), it is worth investigating. Regular periods but no pregnancy after that timeline is a signal, not a verdict. Something silent may be at play, and the good news is that most causes are treatable.
