To provide students from throughout the state of Tamil Nadu with access to higher education, Alagappa University established the Centre for Distance and Online Education (also known as CDOE) in 1992. It has the UGC-DEB's approval to provide full-time online courses and is an NAAC-rated A+ institution for online learning. It has evolved to offer online courses via digital support resources. Founded in the 1950s, Alagappa University is a state government university located in Tamil Nadu. Over the years, the institution has received several awards and recognitions for offering top-notch academic services to students from a variety of organizations.
