DIC is Exporter of Collets in India, used to form a collar around a tool or device, with a pointed outer surface and a tube-shaped inner surface. Collet is a cylindrical sleeve classified as a subtype of the chuck. Basically, collets can be divided into two categories: Internal & External collets. These are also used to secure cutting tools and workpieces at high speeds and pressures. It is suitable for the repeated production of high-precision components and products. Collets are available in two types: Workholding, Toolholding. These are only used with cylindrical shaft tools, such as endmills, drills, thread mills, taps, etc.
