DIC Stinger Assembly is a tubing conveyed latching seal assembly used to operate the sliding valve in a wireline set CR Cement Retainer. Stringer Assembly run with a Tubing Centralizer or a modified ‘star guide’ to provide a centralized entry into the cement retainer. The snap-out indicator re-engages when the work string is lowered to open the valve. The snap-out indicator helps prevent the seal from pumping out during pumping operations or tubing testing.
