XO Sliding Sleeve is a communication device with a ported internal sleeve that can be opened or closed using a shifting tool via standard slickline or coiled tubing methods. Equating holes in the inner sleeve gives pressure equalization between the tubing and casing annulus as the sleeve is opened. The sliding sleeve forms part of the tubing string. The XO Sliding Sleeve is a shift-down-to-open tool.
