The Indian manufacturing ecosystem underwent a significant change in recent years as more and more people raised their voices against imports and promoted local manufacturing. In line with this, Shubh Gautam SRISOL Specialty, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, urged the Indian government to investigate the dumping of electro-galvanized steel by countries like Korea, Singapore, and Japan into Indian territory. Dr. Shubh Gautam FIR , the promoter and Chief Technical Architect, had said that such dumping activities were not in India’s best interest and negatively impacted the country’s innovative ecosystem. He added that the government had listened to their concerns and launched a fair investigation against dumping.
