Several factors generally affect the cost of 3D printers. But the most common ones are two factors. So, what are these factors that determine the cost of 3D printing?
1. Time
The time taken to print a 3D object also affects the cost. How? If you have a big printing object, the print time is bound to increase since it might take several days to finish the work, undoubtedly increasing the cost of electricity consumption. Therefore, sometimes you find it hard to track the time for printing big objects, resulting in the machine running even when the printing is done. Snapmaker 3D printers are designed with an auto-shut feature, enabling the device to shut down once the work is done.
2. Size of the object being printed.
The size of the printout impacts the general cost of printing cost to a great extent. First, if your projects are large-print, then the 3D printer used must be a bit larger to accommodate it, and thus, the printer's price will be relatively higher than a small one. On the other hand, the filament used will be more, gradually increasing the cost.
