Polygomma Waterproof Rubber Roofing Sheet: Flame-Free Alternative to Torch-On London

  Other Services

Replacing a flat roof covering is rarely simple, especially when hot works and open flames are a concern on site. A waterproof rubber sheet for roof offers a practical alternative to torch-on felt for UK roofing projects. Polygomma manufactures a single-ply EPDM rubber membrane that is applied with bonding adhesive, so no torches or gas are needed during installation.

The sheet is available in thicknesses from 0.8 mm to 6 mm and in widths up to 6 metres, which helps reduce the number of joints on larger roofs and terraces. Because it is single-ply, there is no risk of inter-ply blisters or delamination. It is also lightweight at around 1.25 kg per square metre, resistant to UV, ozone and temperature changes, and works as an anti-root barrier for green roofs.

Beyond flat roof waterproofing, the same membrane can be used for basement waterproofing, podiums, wet areas and facades. Contractors, builders, architects and property owners can review the full details.
