The Government of India works diligently towards protecting the rights of childs well-being and development. Various other entities, such as UNCRC and NGOs in India, also work to ensure children’s basic rights are protected and upheld. Under the rights of childs, these entities cover children’s entitlement to receive quality education, adequate nutrition, proper healthcare, protection from all forms of abuse & exploitation, and more.
Among the many NGOs working to protect the rights of childs, there is one organisation that has made a significant contribution in India. Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children) has been working in India for the past 15 years. Since its establishment in the country, Save the Children India has impacted the lives of more than 10 million children, and today, they continue to impact many more young lives.
