SMS Bombing: A Silly Joke or a Real Offense? SMS bombing is when someone floods a single phone with hundreds or thousands of texts in a few seconds, usually through free websites or apps called SMS bombers. To many people it looks like a friendly prank among buddies, yet the result can be much harsher than they expect. Those packed messages can freeze the phone, wipe out vital data, and leave the recipient feeling stressed and powerless.
